About Us

Gavel and Glass Club

The Gavel and Glass Toastmasters Club was founded in 1955 and has enjoyed more than 50 years of success. Our club is part of Area 35, Division D, District 60 of Toastmasters International. For more information on Toastmasters International and its vision, please visit the Toastmasters International website.


Meeting Time and Location

The club meets every Thursday from 7pm to 9pm, during September through June, at St. Mark's Church. Please visit the Contact Us page for address and map.


Membership Fees

Fees include educational materials, manuals and the monthly Toastmasters magazine. Although our Toastmaster year begins in September, new members join throughout the year. Fees are pro-rated for individuals joining after January.

While there are similarities in the way clubs run meetings, each club has moulded the general format into a style unique to the club. The meetings at Gavel and Glass generally run according to the following format:
